Descriptive statistics

Descriptive statistics are methods of organizing, summarizing and presenting data in a way that the data is easy to understand.

Descriptive statistics is the most basic form of statistics. Descriptive statistics are important because unorganized data does not provide any valuable information. To organize and present data in the area of descriptive statistics, frequency distributions and charts are used.

Descriptive statistics are also calculated descriptive values of data sets such as average values and distribution values.
